The Book Garden

Books are very much like gardens. You must prepare the land be it earth or paper, plant the seeds (or seedlings), nourish them with water, fertilize them and remove the companion weeds.

Removing the 'weeds' from your book is called editing and it is hard work. Nourishment comes in the form of advertising, sharing your work with others.

A blank page is like a fresh plowed field. Fill it with inspiration and passion. Give your best loving care. Hope for the best.

If you fail at the basics, your work will wither on the vine.
